Anyone would tell you, real estate is all I talk about these days. Having such a passion for it, it’s
hard not to.
In the spring of 2000 I started thinking of a career change. In the fall I began the real estate
course. After taking my mid-term exam I began to wonder if I could actually do this. Real estate
language is like no other language. Needless to say, I studied extremely hard and in October 2000
I passed the state exam and received a salespersons license.
I started out in a large office in Torrington, but that really wasn’t a good fit for me. I moved onto a
smaller office closer to home in Goshen. That seemed to work for a while, but again time for
I went to an office in Litchfield with a small staff. I knew this area was the place where I wanted to
be. I got much more involved with real estate and knew this was exactly what I wanted to do forever!
June 2006, I received my Broker’s license. Again, another struggle. Becoming a broker involves
additional courses and exams. Only a small percent of Realtors® become Brokers.
February 1, 2007 I opened Donna Molon Real Estate, LLC.
One of the things my clients and other agents tell me, is that no matter when they call me, I answer
the phone. It’s rare that you can try to reach me, and you get a machine. I feel that is “huge” to my
clients and fellow agents. When appointments need to be made and questions need answering, no
one wants to wait.
My job is totally different every single day. Plans are changed daily. It is exciting and extremely
rewarding to see a happy client move into their first home. Or, help someone in the process of
selling their present home. I have been given the opportunity to do something I love, and I truly
give it my best.
